Moisture and mold in the fiberglass
The insulating wool was damp and had traces of mold. It was time for it to be changed.
Sealing the gap
Several gaps and holes were present on the attic floor. These spaces allow the air you heat in the house to pass to the attic. So you need to heat your house a lot more in order to feel comfortable.
The sealed gaps
Our team sealed all the gaps and the holes in the attic floor with a polyurethane foam.
Addition of deflectors in the soffits
Our team added baffles in the attic soffits to ensure air circulation and retain the cellulose.
Attic access insulation
The attic hatch represents a place where there are air leaks. It is therefore important to isolate it well.
