The attic had several air leaks which caused the formation of ice dams on the roof. It also lacked insulation and the vents were made of cardboard which was inefficient and would easily rot.
Seal air leaks and install vents
Our experts sealed the air leaks with expanded foam and installed the vents for a better attic ventilation.
Access hatch insulation
The access hatch is a major source of air leakage. It must be insulated in order to reduce the loss of air coming from the house.
Insulated attic
We sealed the air leaks, installed the vents, insulated the access hatch and blew out just over 16” of cellulose fibers.
