Challenge
Our client was concerned about their attic. The existing insulation in their attic was very old and worn out. Consequently, uncomfortable drafts had re-emerged throughout the house. As a result, energy consumption remained excessive, leading to higher Hydro bills. Our specialist noticed that there were still existing holes, allowing air to infiltrate.
Solution
Our team of workers, managed by Colin, began by removing the existing insulation. A thorough examination around the entire attic was then conducted to ensure no existing air leaks were missed. Using our revolutionary product ZypFoam, we completed the sealing: air will no longer be able to escape into the attic. This will finally allow for the installation of our TruSoft cellulose insulation. We blew in approximately 17" to achieve the required R60 value.
