Attic Insulation in Saint-Bruno, QC

Challenge

The attic inside this house located in Saint Bruno was poorly insulated. There were several air leaks, and the insulation was very old and at a low qunatity. As a result, there were uncomfortable air drafts in the house.

Solution

Remove the old insulation to seal all existing air leaks via cables, pipes, flushes including the attic hatch.

Blow in new cellulose-fibre insulation all along the attic to achieve a thermal value of R60.
