Mold growth in an Attic in Charlemagne, Qc

Challenge

Mr. Thibeault felt that there was a deep smell coming from his attic, and had also noticed that the air in is house was very hot and stuffy! Therefore he decided to take a look at it and had noticed that there was dark stains on his plywood.

After several researches done, he decided to renovate the roof of his house totally and contact our company for our help. 

Solution

Following our client's call, our team of experts in attic sealing and insulation had first removed the old fiberglass insulation. Then they cleaned the wooden frame to remove mold and clogged all the interstices on the attic floor with a polyurethane foam as well as the electrical boxes of the lights with the help of an insulating shell. Finally, they blew 16 "cellulose to properly insulate the attic and offer a maximum comfort to our client for many years.
