Using our cellulose fibers to fix humidity and insulate an attic in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, Qc
Challenge
Our client Mr. Babak was very annoyed from the coldness in his house.
He tried to heat his place and suffered from an increase in energy bills, but it was all in vein.
After several searches on the internet, he realized that the problem was bigger then this, and then when he found our company he called us to benefit from our free estimate.
During the free estimate, our specialist noticed a major lack of insulation in Mr. Babak's attic. There were only 6” thick wool mats, which is very little for the Quebec climate.
Solution
The solution was very easy and super efficient.
What we offered to our client to make his home more comfortable was to remove the old, moldy and damp insulation, then seal all the air leaks present on the attic floor such as holes and gaps. And then, blow 16 in. of cellulose.
