Challenge

Ms. Negret contacted Systèmes Éconergie because the insulation in her attic was insufficient. There was less than 10” of fiberglass mat in some places. This caused ice dams on his roof in the winter and made his house uncomfortable.

Solution

To improve the comfort of his home and eliminate ice dams, our experts have sealed all air leaks such as the joints and holes in electrical wires. Then they insulated the recessed lights by adding a box to each of them and sealing around the box. They insulated the access hatch with SilverGlo and finally blew out just over 16” of cellulose fibers.
