Mr. Juan, a resident of Saint-Bruno, contacted us following complications in his attic. Our specialist Patrick, visited for a free, detailed inspection. While examining the attic, Patrick identified several air leaks, as well as a lack of insulation. He explained to Mr. Juan that this could be the source of uncomfortable drafts within the house. Excessive use of heating/air-conditioning systems to neutralize the drafts will result in increasing the Hydro bill. Patrick then proposed suitable Attic insulation solutions. 

Solution  

Our team of experienced workers removed the old and aged insulation. Then, they sealed all existing air leaks via cables, pipes and flushes, including the attic hatch, which was insulated using our SilverGlo thermal insulation.   

Finally, our TruSoft cellulose fiber insulation was blown throughout the attic to achieve a thermal value of R60.
