Beginning of insulation
The recessed lights are a source of air leakage because of the hole that in them. Since the insulation cannot be done on the electrical box of the lights for security measures, we installed a box and sealed it with our polyurethane foam.
Vents are essential for proper air circulation in the attic.
They help ventilate the attic and prevent high humidity.
Cellulose blowing
Our foremen always use this rule in order to blow the right amount of cellulose into the attic. 16 -0 of cellulose will be blown to reach an R60 value. It would take at least 22” of fiberglass to achieve the same R60 value. So the cellulose is much more effective.
Cellulose fiber insulation
Cellulose fiber is very quick to install, safe, environmentally friendly and very effective!
