The attic of Mr Gaudio's house was very poorly insulated. It had about 6 inches of fiberglass as insulation, which is far from sufficient in Quebec. Because of this, he felt cold drafts in the house during winter and noticed that the theating costs were getting high. The solution -Seal air leaks and blow cellulose fiber We removed the customer's old insulation to properly seal any air leaks on the attic floor. Subsequently, we added our SilverGlo insulation boards on some walls of the attic to finally blow 16 '' of cellulose fibers.

Conduits that were condensing

Due to poor insulation, the customer's pipes were condensing and water was leaking. When working in the attic, it is necessary to seal well around the ducts and insulate them.

Replacement of attic deflectors

It is normal for the attic to be ventilated, it must be, but it must be well controlled. Maximum deflectors and fans are needed on the roof. Lack of ventilation or too much ventilation can become problematic.

Insulate with cellulose fiber
