We were recently contacted by a homeowner in Mirabel who had concerns about the condition of his attic. It had been a long time since his last inspection, and he was worried about potential issues that might have developed. Upon arriving at the property, our specialist conducted a thorough inspection of the attic and identified the issue: The existing insulation did not meet the recommended thermal value of R60, which is crucial for proper energy efficiency and temperature control.

As a result of the insufficient insulation, the attic was experiencing high humidity levels and emitted an unpleasant, musty odor. This combination of factors could lead to even more significant issues down the line, such as mold growth and wood rot.

To resolve the issue, we proposed a comprehensive solution. First, we removed the old and ineffective insulation from the attic to start with a clean slate.
