Challenge
Samantha, a resident of Très-Saint-Rédempteur, lived in a house where the old attic insulation no longer provided any protection. Heat loss was noticeable in winter, warm air escaped easily, and energy bills rose year after year. Drafts made some rooms particularly uncomfortable, to the point that the attic had become a constant source of problems.
Solution
Our team worked in several stages:
- First, we completely removed the old insulation, which was often compacted, ineffective, and sometimes contaminated with dust. Next, we carried out
- Complete caulking to seal even the smallest air leaks, an essential step, as up to 40% of a home's energy loss can come from these infiltrations.
- Finally, we applied our TruSoft blown cellulose, an eco-friendly insulation made from recycled paper fibers treated to resist fire, mold, and pests.
