Our client, living in LaSalle, contacted our company due to the development of mold in their attic. On one hand, there was insufficient amount of insulation, compromising the energy efficiency of the house. We installed our TruSoft cellulose insulation. Blowing in this insulation achieved a R60 thermal value, ensuring optimal insulation for the climate of this region of Quebec. Additionally, this insulation is made of an eco-friendly material, and is fireproof and mold-resistant.

Air Sealing

We proceeded to seal all areas with air leaks to ensure optimal airtightness of the attic. The sources of air leaks were numerous, such as ventilation ducts, the space around the chimney, and holes made for wires and pipes.
