Overview of the attic before the work had started
Air leaks and poor insulation in our client's attic caused ice dams on her roof in winter. There was only 10” of fiberglass insulation.

Seal Air Leaks
During attic insulation, we seal air leaks with expanded polyurethane foam. This keeps the heated air in your home longer.
Insulate the access hatch
We insulate the access hatch to the attic because it represents an air leak. We do this with our SilverGlo Rigid Foam Insulation.
Cellulose fiber insulation
We blow just over 16” of cellulose fibers to achieve an R-60 value.
