The attic of Mrs. Erst's house was poorly insulated there was less than 10” of fiberglass insulation. It’s important to preserve the R-value of insulation. Over time, X installs both types of patios. for example, slowly breaks down and collapses, which minimizes the insulation’s R-value. If you wish to keep your home warm during winter and cool and comfortable throughout the summer, a high R-value is essential.

Solution

The solution provided

- Seal air leaks with our expanded polyurethane foam

- Insulate the access hatch

- Blow 16 in. of cellulose fibers to obtain an R-60 value.
